Peachtree BioResearch Solutions, Inc., a business specializing in contract clinical research services, is pleased to announce Charles Romano, Director of Global Clinical Operations nd Government Affairs has been invited to speak at the DIA 46th Annual Meeting in Washington, DC.
Session Title: Clinical Trials in the Fast Lane: Is There a Speed Limit on the Road to Excellence?
Date: June 17, 2010 Time: 8:30AM – 10:00AM
The session will address the need for speed and efficiency in the conduct of clinical trials as a means to control rising costs and the reduce economic pressures in getting to market. Attendees to this session will learn strategies for clinical trial management that incorporate key performance indicators for increasing compliance and reducing the risk of delays.
Mr. Romano will present “Speed and Quality: A Case Study,” that focuses on managing service providers utilizing key performance indicators. Charles has held increasing roles of responsibility in clinical operations, project management, and outsourcing and contracts for companies such as Boehringer-Ingelheim, Pfizer, UCB and Alaven Pharmaceuticals. While at UCB, he was instrumental in redesigning the outsourcing processes that resulted in a 20% increase in resource return to clinical development.
